Meet the Team

Peter Trama - Operational Manager

Peter has been working in the building and outdoor maintenance industry for over ten years, being particularly passionate about historic restoration.

“Seeing long-forgotten buildings restored back to how they were is such a great thing to be part of. There’s so many stories to be told in old buildings, and we often uncover lost pieces of history, like the window we found bricked up between a wall at Marian [College].”

With specialties in plastering and timber restoration, Peter not only owns and manages the business but is often out overseeing teams and can usually be found with his hard hat on and his hand put to work.

Peter can be contacted for quotes and enquiries on 0419 020 485

Pauline.jpg

Pauline Trama - Administration Manager

After spending the last 12 years raising a family, running a business was the last thing Pauline expected to do. But after her family found themselves in a tight spot after leaving a long-term caretaker position on a rural dirt bike park, it was just the thing to get them back on their feet.

“Doing this seemed crazy when we started… and in some ways, it still does. But seeing homes and properties thrive and flourish is such a blessing… it’s nice to be a part of that.”

While she’s not afraid to wield a paintbrush or get “down and dirty” with the boys, Pauline spends the majority of her time managing our home office. From scheduling appointments, to ensuring invoices and paperwork are sent out promptly, Pauline is our go-to organiser, and will ensure your job is completed promptly and efficiently.

Shannon Trama - Site Manager

Joining Peter on job sites from a young age, Shannon has been working in maintenance and restoration almost as long as his father, and is now Peter’s right-hand-man in the business.

“I’ve always loved working with my hands, whether it be painting, gardening, plastering… but working at St Michael’s and Marian [College] these past few years has been the best part of this job. I still like working on site myself, but planning restorations and renovations, and making sure the teams are on top of their tasks is what I really enjoy doing now.”

Shannon works between sites ensuring that jobs are progressing well, and assists in the office with quotes and invoices. Specialising in timber work and framing, Shannon can ensure your renovations are structurally sound and will last a lifetime.

Shannon can be contacted for quotes and inquiries on 0487 170 917

Werner.jpg

Werner Kalz - Senior Tradesman

Werner is a duel trade qualified carpenter and painter with over 35 years experience in the industry. One of our regular site supervisors, Werner assists in the leading of job sites when the management team are not present.

“I’ve been doing this so long now, it’s second nature. Painting, landscaping, decking, tiling… I’ve pretty much tried my hand at everything, but outdoor work’s my favourite.”

With plenty of skills and experience to bring to the team, Werner enjoys both historical restoration and modern renovation. His favourite jobs are decking and landscaping.

Matt.jpg

Matthew Williams - General Labourer

Coming from a weed spraying and outdoor maintenance background, Matthew is a skilled labourer capable in a range of different carpentry mediums.

“I like to say that I’m ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’… but you might not want that on the website!”

Matthew has honed his labouring skills working with Trama Restorations the past 18 months and enjoys thinking creatively and coming up with new ideas ‘outside the box’. Willing to put his hand to any job, Matthew’s main focus is on modern renovation and carpentry.

Jo Brown - General Labourer

Jo is relatively new to the restoration and maintenance business. After many years working in aged care and the social welfare industry, property maintenance and renovation is a welcome change of pace.

“I’m pretty handy with a motor. Give me a two-stroke engine and the right tools, and I’m your girl!”

Growing up on a farm in rural NSW, and eager to learn new skills, she’s the perfect candidate for our property maintenance sites, and can regularly be found keeping the grounds of our long-term site, St Michael’s, fresh and tidy.
